Just as a counter balancer to what ticks you off, I thought I would start a what makes you happy. These are a few of my favourite things................raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens........no sorry just kidding. 1.My Children(most of the time) 2.The beach and beachcombing for as long as I want 3.Painting,drawing 4.All the episodes of 'Seachange' 5.Colour 6.My husbands smile 7.My 2 dogs Molly and Bob 8.Music ,apparently it is the food of love! 9.Being in the moment, that is enjoying the time without worrying about what will happen next. 10. Umm choccy and Champagne 11.A nice cup of tea 12.Going somewhere I haven't been before.........the thrill of the open road and lots of time to explore it. 13.Just sitting on the beach and soaking up the energy. 14.Looking at my kids when they are asleep, they still look cute. oh thats enough I am glad to say my happy list is longer than my what ticks me off list ;D.

My children - I am constantly humbled by the depth of love I feel for these two little human being. To be there mother is without doubt the greatest privledge of my life The beach Listening to Guy Sebastian sing Watching Guy perform A full nights sleep- Something I havn't experienced for 4 years thanks to the above mentioned children I have heard that kids sleep through the night eventually but I am still waiting My mum Seeing my husbands smile when he walks in the door All the corny musicals like the sound of music and my fair lady The belief that despite all the violence we see on the media this is still a beautiful world full of beautiful people Christmas time A good bottle of champagne shared with a good friend ( did that yesterday) Warm ( not too warm) summer nights. Seeing the business that my husband and I have built (we have a catering business) finally after many years of hard slog start to do well The sound of the ocean Shopping ( without kids) and really just the pure joy of living the wonderful life that i have

This is a much nicer task than thinking about the things that annoy us. Here goes my list of what makes me happy: being a mother to my three beautiful children My brother - the the funniest, most interesting, bravest and most special man alive. Spending time with my sister. Spending time with my sister and brother at the same time (rare, treasured moments due to distance) Getting a HD for an assignment that I have slaved over. Getting a HD for an assignment I have not put much effort in to at all. Thinking about special times with my parents (both died young). Music can always put a smile on my face. Guy's joyful smile and beautiful voice. Christmas shopping - I love the hustle, bustle, music, decorations; the whole deal. Christmas with family - my husband's family is huge and they welcome everyone. When grace is said on christmas eve I am truly grateful for all the happiness I have in my life.

Oh lots of things make me happy: Music. My dog. A cuddle from my little brother. A nice and tasty hot curry. A quiet night at home with a book. A loud night out with my friends. Doing something nice for somebody else. Cooking. Lots of cooking. Experimenting with food. Beer. Red wine. A nice sleep-in on a cold, wet, windy weekend. Playing eight-ball ... even when I lose. Chicken (I'm with Homer Simpson on that one). Sitting on the back of a friend's motorbike. Singing. Kissing.
I could go on and on ...

My children.....especially when they are happy....nothing better than the sound of them laughing! My husband....especially when I make him laugh!....which is actually quite hard....he takes life VERY seriously and he's not even ticklish! lol! Really, really icy cold wind blowing in my face.....especially when driving in the car.....just liken me to a dog with my head hanging out the window! Rain, snow, thunderstorms...WINTER!....snuggling under the doona when all these things are happening. Doing something new and exciting like jumping off a mountain with a parachute.....skydiving.....travelling to a different place. Long drives at night time. A great book or movie.....you know the ones where your left going wow! Mr Guy Sebastian singing and dancing and doing his thing. Lots and lots of christmas lights!.....on someone elses house! lol! The sound of the ocean.....I lived next to it for 8yrs and miss it! Going to the cinema alone when hardly anyone else is there!......feels like you have the place to yourself! Chocolate and coffee......and a really good meal! The health and happiness of everyone I know.....I'm tired of death. Sorry that was so long.....I really think I could go on forever!.....by the way....I like coming here too......nice people, lotta laughs!

Makes me happy > chocolate, forgiveness between two people (sounds cheesy, but it's all good), extremely long showers, laughing fits make me so happy. Watching people bungee jump make me happy also. I also love the feeling I get after an intense workout!
