I have been reading a few posts where people are saying that Shannon’s out of his league.
Obviously people weren't watching a few weeks back when he clearly was the stand out performer ("What about me" performance). Some people even comparing him with Millsy and saying they both should be off. He has got talent people.
I think his major problem though is his song choice; he's got to start picking better songs.

i couldnt agree more ! i dont think he'll win because hes apparently to aussie believe it or not! as i read this from another thread- ishannon bugs me hes accent is so aussie that i can barely understand him!
poor dear maybe they have a communication problem lol

Yeh I think Shannon has a fantastic voice he has just just made a couple of dodgy song choices. He's got much more style, charisma & versatility then Millsy. Good point to bring up. I don't think people should put them at the same level.

i couldnt agree more, people think shannon is at the same level as millsy cos they are both generally regarded as the ones the girls are going for (poor guy! lol) BUT shannon's singing voice is the reason i vote for him every week. millsy is cute & fun, & a good performer - it's fair enough to say he doesn't have the best voice, but there's more to being a singer than that. GO SHANNON!!!  |

I think Shannon has the best voice of the lot. His last two performances weren't up to his usual standard, but when he sings well, he has a unique voice, whereas although the others can sing really well, their voices sound just like any other guy or girl on the radio. I think he is the best of the lot and I hope he wins - he is the only one I would buy a CD of. I think he has been trying too hard the last couple of times and just needs to do what he does best, belt out a song. I think he would be great singing the Kiss song "God Made Rock and Roll for you". Don't know if that is the right title, but you know what I mean. Luv you Shannon  |

I adore him too but I think he'll be booted out.
He and Guy are the most down to earth - what you see is what you get. I hope he becomes the next Keith Urban!

Shannon has let himself down with the last couple of performances. I think he is probably the best marketing prospect for BMG ,he is a real Aussie...something different not a cloned mariah carey or cosimalookatmenow. Ithink we have seen the best of him with "what about me" and he will be going soon.Guy is muciscally awesome and is different even if its cause he looks wierd....go guy

I was lucky enough to meet shannon out in sydney the other night... he was always my favourite in the competition so i spoke with him for awhile.. not only is a he a very good looking and extremely talented man - he was also one of the nicest and most down to earth guys i think I have ever met... got a photo with him and he looks fantastic... go shannon ... i back you all the way!
