Thats all he needed one song and i knew he would do it..... Finally Australia has seen how amazing Anthony Callea is and why he should be the Australian Idol 2. I had another spine tingling moment that compares to 'Climb Everywhere Mountain' which i never thought would be matched with this years contestants..... ask yourself this would the other idols be able to sing in the same manner and brilliance that Anthony sang last night....?? I dont think so...there is no competition! Vote for a voice not for a performer.

Anthony was outstanding. But he still didn't send the same kind of thrills that Guy did when he sang both When Doves Cry and Climb Every Mountain. But I think Anthony's got it in the bag for this year!

But I think Anthony's got it in the bag for this year! I got the spine shivers with those Guy songs too, but Anthony's performance on Sunday gave me the same - no more or less - the same I just feel Guy is a lot more talented in other areas - writing, arranging etc. But to quote you, angelicguy, I also think Anthony's got it in the bag for this year.

if anthony does not win australian idol there is something wrong. He is the best thing to hit the idol scene. He has talent so let's just hope that the judges and the rest of australia keep that in mind and dont vote the winner on materialistic characteristics. GO ANTHONY.....THE ITALIAN STALIAN

Anthony blew me away. His version of the prayer is even better than Bocelli

He did a really excellent job with that song.
I am not having a go at him and that while listening to him sing it, it would have been great if he had of had a go of hittiing a top register.
When he did the bit before the italian bit, I was waiting to hear him go up, but he went down instead. But anyway, I still liked it.

Anthony is a big cheese who needs to loose the attitude. Gay in denial??? I think so! As Dicko said on Sunday, he looks like he's auditioning for a Backstreet Boy tribut band! Go Chanel all the way, she's got personality and she's not like every other commercial singer out there!!
